Purchasing Specialist, North America

The position will be responsible for the execution and support of transactional activities for the region using standard systems and tools, ensuring compliance to process workflow. Transactional processes include material master data management, updating of price information and other procurement conditions in purchasing-relevant dataview in our SAP or other systems; and management of the data quality.

Requirements and Competencies:

• University education required, in a related field
• 1-2 years of previous experience in purchasing, customer service, finance or a systems environment
• A self-starter who takes initiative, is organized and detail-oriented, can work independently and has strong problem-solving skills
• Must be versatile and adaptable to changes
• Excellent working knowledge of PC systems and MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• SAP knowledge a plus
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
